Soils and Peat

We are specialists in the surveying and assessment of peat and soils. Our in-house experience includes:

Contaminated and Brownfield Land

Aqua Terra prides itself on providing strategic, innovative support to developers of contaminated and brownfield sites. Our roots as a company are in the investigation, assessment, and clean-up of contaminated land. We deliver strategic support from pre-application due diligence and feasibility, through the planning and build process culminating in validation and verification services. We have worked on the full range of contaminated sites, from petrol filling stations to gas works, from collieries to Ministry of Defence sites and everything in between.

Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)

Our team are experienced in supporting EIAs for all types of projects from residential led strategic sites, to DNS/ DCO scale projects and large linear transmission projects. Some example projects we have supported are below:

  • DCO scale solar farms.

  • DNS scale energy parks including wind, solar and battery storage.

  • Up to 90km long transmission lines (overhead and underground).
